To encourage the development of investigative journalism and to decrease the spread of anti-liberal narratives in Georgia and Moldova educational seminars for journalism student were organized on April 26 in Chisinau, Moldova and on April 28 in Tbilisi, Georgia. The seminars were organized in partnership with BBSA-Georgia and Independent Journalism Center in Moldova.
Inga Springe, Founder of Re:Baltica and investigative journalist shared her experience and khow-how. Journalists and media experts Moldova (Viorica Zaharia, President of the Press Council) and Georgia ( Sopho Vasadze, Coda story un Nino Robakidze, TI Georgia) also provided an insight in their work.
Afterward the students formed groups and developed their investigation topics on which they will be working for the next few months to publish investigative stories.
